Springfield, Mass. (December 12) – For the first time this season and the second time in her career, MIT sophomore Kara Holinski (Livonia, Mich.) earned a spot on the New England Women’s Basketball Association (NEWBA) Honor Roll as announced by the organization on Monday. In a 2-0 week for the Engineers, she averaged 19.5 points, a 48.4 field goal percentage (42.9 percent from three-point range), 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and two assists while playing 40 minutes in both games.
