A balanced attack coupled with a strong performance at the free throw line helped the MIT women’s basketball team defeat Fisher College, 60-47, in non-conference action on Tuesday night. One of four starters to reach double figures in scoring, sophomore Annika Sougstad (Mahtomedi, Minn.) paced the Engineers with 14 points to go along with five rebounds and three steals. Vivian Lara led all players with 23 points and seven steals while dishing out a team-high four assists for the Falcons.
